Mystery Art Fest

What is Mystery Art? Mystery Art is an annual exhibit by local and regional artist of all levels. The artwork is donated by the artist and their name and the title of the work is hidden and becomes a mystery. Artwork is displayed in the NorthLight Gallery and interested patrons bid for their piece in a silent auction and later on in a live auction. During the live auction, patrons make a bid and solve the mystery. They find out who the artist is as well as the title of the piece. Mystery Art Fest fulfills our mission at The Kemp which is to nurture and strengthen the artistic, cultural and educational quality of our community and the surrounding area. The fund from this event enhances our educational programs and helps us to continue the promotion of the arts.

Mystery Art 2015

It is that time again when we ponder the mystery of what artists and artwork will be submitted for the 2015 Mystery Art Fest.  We would like to thank you for your past donations and we look forward to your participation this year.  It is because of your support that the Kemp Center for the Arts is able to provide so many art experiences for our community.  We are excited to be adding sculptures again as a category this year.  Please be sure and check the guidelines for more information.   Deadline is September 2, 2015.    Photography and digital artwork will be featured in a future 2016 gallery.
