Member Organizations are a very important component at the Kemp. Any non-profit organization may join the Kemp for $50 per year and receive the following benefits:
- Use of the Texas Room for 2 hours per month for meetings (based on availability)
- Opportunity to purchase Home & Garden tickets from the Arts Council for $1.00 per ticket and sell them to the public before the show for $4.00, therefore making a profit of $3.00 per ticket sold
- A table at the Home & Garden show for $25.00
- Use of the Kemp Center address as their mailing address and mail slot at the Kemp
- Use of the Kemp copier for .04 per copy and the fax machine at no charge
- One weeknight "free" event per year. Weeknight is defined as Monday-Thursday. Free means that there will be no room rental charge. Other charges (attendant, security, tablecloths, setup/breakdown, clean up) will still apply.

Scheduling an Event
At the Kemp, one weekend per month is "reserved" for an arts related event. This could be an event sponsored by a Member Organization or by the Kemp Center for the Arts itself. If no Member Organization or the Kemp itself reserves that weekend for an arts related event, then the staff will have the discretion to rent the facility "at the last minute" for a non-arts related event. Thus, if you wish to schedule an arts related event on a weekend, plan as far ahead as possible so that we can accommodate your request. Please feel free to contact any member of the Kemp staff for further details or clarification.
